About Ninit
Our Vision
Ninit envisions a future where governance and funding mechanisms are transparent, accountable, and truly community-driven. Through CiviKit, our Web3 Wednesdays, and governance summits, we're working to build the foundations for a more efficient and equitable system of resource allocation, starting with non-profits and local communities.
The Story Behind Ninit
Ninit was born in 2018 with a simple yet powerful mission: to make Web3 education accessible and engaging for everyone, regardless of their technical background. What began as cryptographic and economic courses has evolved into a vibrant community hub, where we blend hands-on learning with real-world applications, helping bridge the gap between traditional systems and the future of decentralized governance.
Our Values and Principles
- Transparency: We believe in open-source development and clear communication.
- Innovation: We're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Web3.
- Community-Centric: Our community is at the heart of everything we do.
- Education: We're committed to spreading knowledge and fostering growth in the Web3 space.
- Onboarding: We're dedicated to providing smooth onboarding experiences for new users and projects in the Web3 space.
- Decentralization: We champion the principles of decentralization in our products and operations.
Civikit: Our Core Technology
Civikit is our flagship open-source SDK for building and experimenting with customizable governance mechanisms and capital allocation strategies. Built on Scaffold-ETH-2 and integrated with Allo Protocol v2.1, Civikit makes it easier for developers to create, test, and deploy governance systems for DAOs and grant programs.
Our commitment to innovation and community-driven development was recognized at ETHGlobal Brussels, where we won the Nouns DAO bounty for our contributions to decentralized governance solutions.
